Italian Noodle Soup

This is a simple and quick soup the whole family will like and a meal in itself.
1 pound sausage, turkey
1/2 onion(s), medium, chopped
2 carrot(s), sliced
6 cups chicken broth, reduced sodium (or vegetable broth, reduced sodium)
1 cup marinara sauce, already prepared, jar or deli
1 can (15 ounces each) garbanzo beans, chickpeas, drained
6 ounces spaghetti noodles, whole wheat, or any
3 cups spinach, fresh baby, chopped
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Place turkey sausage in a large soup pot and brown over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add onion and carrots and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until just soft. Add broth and marinara, increase heat to medium high and bring to a low boil. Add pasta and beans and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes until pasta is soft. Stir in chopped spinach. Serve in bowls and top with parmesan cheese.
