Baked Fontina Zucchini

Fast, easy, great tasting zucchini side dish. Try gorgonzola, sharp cheddar or mozzarella instead of the Fontina if you like.

Ingredients

4 zucchini(s)

4 tablespoons cheese, Fontina, shredded

1/4 teaspoon pepper, black, ground

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and place cut side up on a foil lined baking sheet or dish. Sprinkle the cheese over the zucchini halves, sprinkle with pepper and bake for about 20 minutes or until the zucchini are tender and the cheese is slightly browned. Serve warm.
