Herb Breaded Pork Chops

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
These are simple and quick. Serve with rice or couscous.
4 pork chops, with bone, about 6 ounces each
1 egg(s), large, beaten in medium bowl
3/4 cup bread crumbs, Italian herb flavored, spread out on a plate
2 tablespoons canola oil or vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat a large skillet over medium to medium high heat and add oil. Dip pork chops in egg, then coat with bread crumbs. Place pork chops in skillet and brown for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and place in a large baking dish. Place in oven to continue cooking for about 7 to 10 minutes until cooked through, then serve.
