Gramma Carols Lightened Up Cheese Potatoes

We recommend doubling this recipe for family events. You will use up the cans of soup and sour cream and your guests will eat up these yummy potatoes every time.
1 bag(s) (10 ounces) hash browns, southwest style, frozen
1 onion(s), medium, chopped
1 cup Cheddar Cheese soup
1 cup Cream of Chicken soup, low sodium, low fat
1 cup sour cream, low fat or light
1 cup chicken broth, reduced sodium (or vegetable broth, reduced sodium)
1 1/2 cup cheese, cheddar, light, shredded
1/2 teaspoon pepper, black, ground
Preheat oven to 375. In a large baking dish, combine all ingredients and mix well. Bake covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 more minutes or until slightly browned on top.
