Orange and Avocado Salad with Greens

This is simple and delicious and full of nutrition. Calories and carbs are fairly low. We like to use Newman's Own Light Lime Vinaigrette, but you can use any favorite.
4 cups lettuce, mixed greens
1 orange(s), seedless, and zest
1/2 avocado(s), Haas or any
1 green onion(s) , chopped
1/4 cup nuts, almonds or pecans
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
Mix 1 teaspoon of zest from the orange, dressing and chopped green onions in a small bowl. Place mixed greens in a large bowl and toss with dressing. Arrange mixed greens on to 4 plates. Cut the peel and white flesh from the orange. Carefully cut orange sections from the membrane and arrange on top of mixed greens. Peel and cut avocado into bite size pieces and arrange on the plates. Top with nuts and serve.
