Parmesan Potato Wedges
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Our kids love these. These are simple, baked in the oven and go great with sandwiches, hamburgers or any main dish.
2 pounds potato(es)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup flour, all purpose
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper, black, ground
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 6 wedges (larger potatoes cut into 8 wedges). Place parmesan, flour, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper in a large zip lock bag and mix well. Add potatoes wedges and shake to coat well. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl for about 30 seconds. Add olive oil to butter and stir. Cover a jelly roll pan or a large baking sheet with foil. Pour butter mixture onto the jelly roll pan and spread evenly. Place baking sheet in the oven for 1 minute to heat up. Remove from oven and arrange potato wedges on the pan in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes. Turn potatoes over and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
