Fresh Apple and Raisin Crumble

Cooking Time: 15 to 20 minutes
This is a simple, yet comforting dessert. Great served with Frozen yogurt or ice cream on the side.
6 apple(s), granny smith or other
1/3 cup raisins
3/4 cup flour, all purpose
3/4 cup oats, rolled
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons canola oil or vegetable oil
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/2 cup nuts, pecans, chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel and slice apples. Spray oblong baking dish with cooking spray. Place apple slices in the bottom of baking dish and top with raisins. Place oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, softened butter and oil in a mixing bowl and mix with a fork until combined and crumbly. Add nuts and fold together. Arrange the topping over the apples and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with frozen yogurt or whipped topping if desired.
