Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Cooking Time: 4 hours on high, 8 hours on low
This is a kid friendly favorite! Makes 8 sandwiches.
3 pounds ground beef, extra lean
1 onion(s), medium
2 tablespoons garlic, bottled minced
1 cup tomato sauce
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, low sodium
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar, light
3 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon chili powder
8 hamburger buns
Place a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat and brown ground beef. Add onion and garlic to skillet, cook approx 2 to 3 minutes. Drain and discard fat. Combine tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard and chili powder in slow cooker. Stir in beef mixture. Cover; cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours or until done. Spoon onto hamburger buns and serve.
