Cooking Time: 15 minutes
The sauce adds so much flavor to an ordinary grilled steak.
1 1/2 pounds steak, lean rib eye, boneless and fat trimmed, or other lean steak
1/3 cup sour cream, low fat or light
2 tablespoons horseradish, prepared
1 tablespoon chives, fresh, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, crushed from jar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper, black, ground
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, low sodium
2 teaspoons olive oil
Mix sour cream, horseradish, minced garlic and chopped chives in a small bowl. Set aside for serving. Season steaks with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Heat a grill pan, skillet or outdoor grill over medium high heat. Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and place on the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and cover with foil. Allow the steak to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Top with Horseradish sauce or serve on the side.
