Cheesy Tomato Basil Crustini with Pesto

This is great on any specialty bread or bun you like. Crusty sourdough, bagels, rolls even English muffins. It's a quick and simple lunch, a great appetizer with wine, or a side to a salad.
2 focaccia rolls, sliced in half
4 tablespoons pesto sauce (prepared)
1 tomato(es), medium, thinly sliced
1/4 cup cheese, mozzarella, low moisture and part skim milk, shredded
1/4 onion(s), red, finely chopped
1/3 cup basil, fresh, sliced
1/4 teaspoon pepper, black, ground
Preheat oven to broil leaving oven door slightly open. Spread pesto on each sliced roll or bread. Divide tomato evenly among the rolls and then add pepper to taste. Divide cheese and onions among the rolls and place on cookie sheet. Broil with oven door slightly open for approximately 5 minutes. Lastly, sprinkle the sliced basil over the cheese and serve.
