Black Olive and Green Onion Cheese Bread

This is a great topping over sourdough or french bread as well. It's also a great side dish with soup or a salad. Or as an appetizer with a glass of wine.
8 slices French bread or any, small
1 1/2 cups cheese, cheddar or jack, shredded
1/3 cup mayonnaise, light or reduced fat
1/3 cup olives, black, pitted
3 green onion(s)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix the grated cheese, mayonnaise, chopped green onions and chopped black olives. Spread a spoonful on top of each roll or slice of bread. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is slightly crispy. Makes 8 pieces.
