Southwest Avocado Tomato Salad

This is a fresh spicy side salad which goes well with a Mexican entree. Dry using Newman's Own Lighten Up Lime Vinaigrette instead of the homemade dressing to lower the fat and calories and save some prep time.
2 avocado(s), Haas or any, cut into wedges
4 tomato(es), medium, cut into wedges
1/2 onion(s), red, thinly sliced
1/4 cup cilantro, fresh, chopped
1 jalapeno chili pepper, diced
2 tablespoon(s) olive oil, extra virgin
2 tablespoon(s) lime(s), juice only
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, black, ground
1 head lettuce, romaine, trimmed, whole leaves
Cut the tomato in half and then slice. Cut tomato slices in half to make wedges. Peel and slice the avocado into eight slices. Cut avocado slices in half to make wedges. In a large bowl, combine avocados, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, oil, lime juice, salt and pepper. Gently mix. Trim romaine lettuce leaves and place one on each of four plates. Top each leaf with 1 cup of salad mixture. Serve immediately.
